The playgroup WILL open on the 12th October 2010
The new committee would like to advise that the Playgroup will open on the 12th of October. There will be a restructure of staff and a Playgroup Manager will be sourced to manage the setting on a daily basis.
A Parents forum was held on the 10th September to give parents the opportunity to meet the new committee and voice their concerns and issues. Richard Flanagan (Chairman) and Jane D'Cruze (Secretary) gave an update and advised on the restructure and latest information on the new building planning.
Anyone wishing to register or just visit the playgroup should contact the playgroup on the numbers below or pop in for a coffee and a chat with Anne Wasyliw (Playgroup Supervisor) who will in the setting most days leading up to the formal opening. You are more than welcome to take your children with you although certain restrictions will apply with using the playgroup facilities.

You will require relevant NVQ accreditation and experiance in a similar setting
Full CRB check, although will need to be applied to the setting.

Launton Playgroup is a small and friendly pre-school set in the heart of the village of Launton.
The Playgroup provides a safe learning environment for children aged 2 1/2 to 5. We are Ofsted rated "Good".
Launton Playgroup is supported by a parent committee, and is very much part of the local community.
It is situated in a purpose-built building, next to Launton Primary School. It has a safe, shaded outdoor play area which is equipped with plenty of outdoor toys. Wherever possible, outdoor play is included in the sessions.
For 3 years plus, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings sessions run from 9am to 1pm to include a lunch club. On Tuesdays and Thursdays sessions are 9am to 12 noon. Separate sessions are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays (1pm to 3pm) for children 2 1/2 to 3 years.
